What the seller says
Seller states
The device is linked to an existing user account or profile that could not be removed. Account status and ability to set up the device cannot be verified.
Likely faults & repair cost
Account locked, not a repair. The seller indicates this device is activation, iCloud, MDM, or carrier locked. A locked device can be fully working and still cannot be resold as working, so the $340 spread does not apply. Treat it as parts only, and price it that way.
Repair costs are rough parts estimates, not a diagnosis of this exact unit. Confirm the fault and your repair path before you buy.
