What the seller says
Seller states
The device is in excellent cosmetic condition but is locked to the previous owner and cannot be activated without their credentials or account removal.
Likely faults & repair cost
Account locked, not a repair. The seller indicates this device is activation, iCloud, MDM, or carrier locked. A locked device can be fully working and still cannot be resold as working, so the $145 spread does not apply. Treat it as parts only, and price it that way.
Repair costs are rough parts estimates, not a diagnosis of this exact unit. Confirm the fault and your repair path before you buy.
