What the seller says
Seller states
The seller does not know the passcode for this Apple Watch Series 4, making it unable to be accessed or used until the passcode or activation lock is cleared by the original owner.
Likely faults & repair cost
Account locked, not a repair. The seller indicates this device is activation, iCloud, MDM, or carrier locked. A locked device can be fully working and still cannot be resold as working, so the $45 spread does not apply. Treat it as parts only, and price it that way.
Repair costs are rough parts estimates, not a diagnosis of this exact unit. Confirm the fault and your repair path before you buy.
